About Me

Bringing a holistic view, I partner with clients to drive alignment from vision and strategy to governance and operations. I work to facilitate client conversations that engage tensions to align stakeholders around clear priorities. I help clients grapple with difficult questions and make tradeoffs to ensure strategic clarity, manageable workloads and, ultimately, greater impact. This may come through facilitated conversations with multiple people or individual coaching sessions.

My experience includes focusing on helping new philanthropies design all aspects of their operations, including finance, staffing, capacity planning, and grantmaking. I’ve also overseen development and deployment of grant portfolios on behalf of clients.

Throughout my career, I have led and scaled organizations at all stages of their development, serving as an executive, board member, consultant, and volunteer. With sixteen years of experience in the tech sector, I led finance and operations for a large corporate division with operations worldwide. Subsequently I brought my depth of experience to projects in international relief, where I managed programs to bring health care education and medicine to underserved populations in post-conflict countries in West and Central Africa.

I have spent the last fifteen years focused on philanthropy guiding families and foundation staff on strategy, governance and organizational development. I hold an MBA from the University of San Francisco and am trained in mediation, facilitation and coaching.
